Will I get hired the following year?

It is our hope to hire Intern's for the next summer (must be 17-18 years of age). It depends on how well you do in the program, how well you interact with students and other staff, and what area(s) of ranch that you have demonstrated skill.

Horse Wranglers and overnight counselors must be 18 years old at the start of the summer. The more skills and interests’ applicants have, the more likely they are to be hired. It also depends to some extent on how many returning interns are interested.

On rare occasions we will hire 16-17 yr. old. We look for mature, responsible teens that are willing to put in the hard work!

• Be available help with the summer program (June & July)
• July – help during overnight clinics (Schedule vary pending on each applicant.)

• On the job training/volunteer required, along with the lessons. Applicants are required to train/volunteer up to 40-50 hours prior to the discount being offered for lessons.

• Schedule an intro lesson, so we may accurately determine rider's skill level.

• Applicants are required to take 8 lessons (after intro) before being considered for the program.
