What make us different?

What Sets Us Apart

We teach riders at every level from beginner to advanced through a total horsemanship program that goes far beyond simply riding a horse. Students are hands-on in every lesson, learning to groom, tack up, safely handle, and care for their horse before and after each ride, building real responsibility, confidence, and respect for the animal.

With longer-than-standard lesson times, riders aren’t rushed in and out of the lesson; instead, they gain meaningful experience on the ground and in the saddle, developing the skills, safety awareness, and connection that set true horsemen apart from riders who only learn to ride.

Lesson time longer than the standard lesson program!

Some examples that students will learn as they advance in their level:

  • Youths in our JV program - have opportunity to care for horses; including feeding, water, and mucking stalls when needed
  • Riding areas vary as students advance: Arenas, Pasture, trail ride, bare-back, round pen work etc.
  • Basic to advanced training, learning how to care for horses while riding.
  • Spend more time with horses learning: clean hooves, stretch horses, caring for them
  • Safety with horses: Safely learn handling horses, safety ties, catch with halter (in stalls, pasture)
  • Instructors are always in training. Higher ratios of instructor/helpers. Group lessons average 2-6 students
